EMU Academic Staff Member Participated in “Cypriot Artists’ Platform” in the UK

Within the framework of the "Cypriot Artists' Platform" in London, a group of artists traveled to London to attend an organisation bringing together art lovers. The activities of the platform which aims to bring together Cypriot artists living in London and poets, writers and caricaturists in Cyprus took place at Kervan Banqueting Hall located in Edmonton Green in London. As part of the 3-day events, a caricature exhibition entitled 'A Problem of 50 Years' was organised. Exhibited caricatures included the works produced between 1964 and 2014.

Eastern Mediterranean University, Architecture Faculty, Interior Architecture Department academic staff member Leyla Çınar Algül participated in the exhibition with 3 pieces of her own works.

During the event, the Cypriot Artists Platform which aims to lead the organisation of artistic and cultural research towards Turkish Cypriot Community stated their wish to continue with similar projects in the near future.
