IX. Sand Sculpture Festival

Organised annually by Eastern Mediterranean University, Interior Architecture Department and EMU Design Club, IX EMU Sand Sculpture Festival and Competition is taking place between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on 14 June 2015. Those interested may join the festival and competition in groups.

This year's festival will be more colorful with the participation of all universities throughout the TRNC.During the festival, the participants will have the opportunity to design and build sculptures, using new approaches and natural material, even if just for one day. The festival will enable the participants to take advantage of the natural beauty of the beaches of Famagusta, nourish alternative forms of art and make similar events take root in our country. The festival which also has an international dimension will provide assistance in promoting the country and its facilities in terms of tourism.

IX. Sand Sculpture Festival and Competition invites everyone who wish to participate in the activity. Deadline for registration for the competition and the festival is 12 June 2015. Candidates wishing to participate may register through the event website or the e-mail address provided below.
