Master of Architecture (M.Arch) Program Description A total of 9 compulsory core courses, two of which being advanced level of design studios, one elective course and a term project comprise the structure of the program. Scientific aspects of various processes at design, implementation, performance and evaluation stages of buildings as well as topics on the basic issues of natural and man-made environments are examined as a part of the program. The topics to be further explored are solar energy utilization, building management, structures, acoustics, thermal performance of buildings, computer aided design, etc. The two studios in the sequence provide in-depth studies of architectural problems that seek to integrate the forms, ideas, and technologies that anticipate construction. Projects may also explore the far boundaries of the discipline of architecture, participating in the research behind its continuing reinvention. Duration Students in full-time status are required to complete a minimum of 38 credit units and a term project (all together 90 ects credits) in 3 semesters (12 months maximum).
